In February 2023, we lost our beautiful little dog to a car accident. The previous year, whilst on a visit to Paris, my wife had had a street artist in Montmartre do a portrait of “hunny” from a photo she had on her phone. After the accident, I had the portrait framed by ARTIS PURA so we could display it in memory of our special dog.

ARTIS PURA made a beautiful frame from native Australian timbers that perfectly complements the picture and reflects “hunny’s” personality. The picture now has “pride of place” just inside our front door, where it is the first thing anyone coming to the house sees as they enter.

Lil from ARTIS PURA framed a floral painting and restored a photographic portrait of my grandfather. They both look terrific; the frames are gold, the choice of frames was diverse, and the costs were explained. The photo restoration brought new life to my long-dead Nonno, Elio, and he looks handsome and has better balance between light and dark. The artist who coloured the black-and-white photo has his name more visible now, and the sealing of the photo frame will keep him looking good for ages to come.

I really appreciated the time given to discussing the colour of the background and the style and colour of the frames, which were hand-painted to match and tone with the rosette colours.
